God Is Our Peace Giver

Many of us fail to see the connection between God and their daily lives, especially when we're faced with troubles and trials.

As Christians endured trials, which grew worse for the Romans as persecution spread in the first decade of the church, those who were right with God "had peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom. 5:1).

In Romans 5:2-5, Paul explained to the believers how the peace process plays out. God gives us grace to manage whatever comes (Rom.5:2); hope empowers and stabilizes us we persevere.

Tribulations gives opportunity to demonstrate our perseverance, which in turn produces patience and godly character. During tribulation God develops character, He's the giver of all good gifts (James 1:17), so remember to give Him praise.

We know that God has shown His love to us and that He will not abandon us, even in our darkest trials, rather His peace surpasses our human understanding. Peace does not mean the absence of conflict, but a state of being on the inside.
