SALVATION
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 KJV
It is only when we acknowledge that we are lost and open our hearts to let Christ in that we will start seeing that change in our lives. It then causes us to confess our sins and accept him as our personal Lord and saviour. We begin to get a better understanding of the extent of God's love for us.
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 NLT
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE
Reference: (Peace With God)
"Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that You raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do Your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen."
If you believe and have prayed this prayer of repentance, take the next steps.
NEXT STEPS
After you have heard the good news and believed, the next step is to be baptized to demonstrate that you now identify with Jesus' death burial and His resurrection. This is an outward sign of your faith in Him.
Find a local church or wherever the Lord leads you and ask about water baptism.
