Walk In Wisdom

Early christians were viewed suspiciously as atheists, unpatriotic, and cannibals because they did not worship pagan gods or venerate emperor, and they symbolically ate and drank the body and blood of Christ.

Today, faithful believers are still grossly misunderstood by an unbelieving world. In light of that reality, Paul declared it absolutely essential that we walk wisely, because we are being watched.

How can we walk in wisdom?

● Lead such honorable lives full of integrity and genuine care that not only are our accusers silenced and ashamed but they ask us what makes us different (1Pet. 2:12, 3:15-16).

 ● Ask God to help us make good use of time rather than wasting time pursuing what doesn't matter.

 ● Don't fill up every second with work,  family, and church activities, but leave margins in our lives so we have time to      build relationships and take advantage of God-ordained moments to serve and share

 ● Engage in gracious, tasteful conversations, and always be ready to talk about Jesus.

"Redeeming the time" (Col. 4:5) conveys the idea of taking advantage of a great opportunity. Paul encouraged believers to snatch up every opportunity to love and serve in Jesus' name.

When our lives are Christ-centered, with our hearts and minds expressing godly values, we won't just recognize and grab those opportunities, we'll make them.
