I have been observing recently how people viewing the same factual things end up with different opinions about them. It's becoming more and more concerning and probably in part stem from this "your truth, my truth, their truth" concept.
I remember there being a dress that some people were saying it was one color while others saw a different color. Same dress different opinions. While lighting conditions affected how that dress was seen by some, the fact still remains that it could not be a color that it was not.
There are also cases where people will watch the same video but end up with different opinions about what was said or seen in that video. Do we say or do things we shouldn't sometimes? Sure we do! Whatever contributed to one saying or doing what they did not mean does not erase the fact that they said or did it. One can however explain that they did not mean what they said or did but certainly should not try to convince others that wasn't what they saw or heard, especially if there is proof of it.
An even more disturbing trend is that people who made a decision to do wrong and are then caught, try so hard to convince others of their self perceived innocence. There are those who will go all out trying to convince others that up is down and down is up just to get their way. They're so far gone with this distorted version of truth that to them it's the only thing that exists. Their opinions and lies become truth, their truth. There is no "my truth or your truth" there is only truth, whether we like it or agree with it. An apple is not an orange nor an orange an apple. We do not speak through our ears and hear with our mouths.
We need to understand that He who sits high looks low and there is only His truth!
Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
