The Language of Tears

There are moments when circumstances become so overwhelming even for us as believers, that we cannot help but shed tears. These tears are not necessarily from being in pain and anguish. It's just the only way we can communicate at the time to the only one who can help us.

During these moments of trials sometimes it's difficult to find the right words or even the strength to pray. To those who are not facing a difficult situation this may not sound like the attitude a believer should have but for the person who is actually going through the trial it's different. We really should not judge but pray for those in such a situation. We ourselves know, from our own experiences that some days are better than others while going through our storms. There are a variety of storms that all of us face at different times, we cannot escape them. Some are more challenging than others. When we cannot find the words to pray we can still call on our Lord and Savior even if it's just with our tears.

We thank God that He knows our hearts and understands the language of our tears. If all we are able to do sometimes is weep, we can be confident that He hears and will answer in His time.

Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
