God is holy! There is no time or will there ever be that He is not. We should be mindful to remember this very important fact whenever we are in the presence of God. Whether we are worshipping, giving him thankful praise or praying, we should not allow distractions. The enemy knows our God is supreme so there is constant warfare, attacks on our minds especially during these times. We should not allow thoughts that are not of God to take root in our minds. They should be dealt with spiritually as soon as they appear. God Himself will help with this once we commit to going to Him about it, through Jesus Christ His son.
He is holy. We would not show up in front of a judge naked. How much more reverence should we have for the almighty God.
God's name is hallowed and should not be used callously. He is not a figure of speech, phrase or just something people say. His name is not a curse word, that it should be used in the same sentence as other expletives. Think about the many times we've heard people, when they are upset, using the name of God with so little regard for who He truly is. Why is the name of our holy God constantly used in vain. This is done even by believers at times. Let's commit to being mindful each and every day of who God is!
Leviticus 22:32
Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
