Is there something you have been prayerfully waiting for that you feel may never happen? Waiting for a long time sometimes can defer our hopes and cause us to lose faith. Whatever the thing is, be reminded of this fact, it is possible because we serve a limitless God.
"Everything is possible for one who believes." Mark 9:23. Our God can do whatever it is you are believing for Him to do without a doubt. We should be way past wondering if things are possible and move on to if they are God's will. We should already be firmly rooted in the fact that there is nothing too difficult or too simple for Him. We should never put a limit on what God can do. He can change our situation in a heartbeat if it is His will to do so. We should praise and glorify His name just for that fact alone. He should be praised whether we are healed or not, whether we get the job or not, whether our financial situation changes or not, or whatever it is we are believing Him for. This sounds difficult and may seem easier said than done because who wouldn't want to be healed?
God should be more to us than someone we look to for favors. He knows our every thought and knows whether we are sincere and if we will continue to be after our prayers have been answered. Jesus should be more than enough for us. He is all we could ever need and much more. He should be praised and glorified just because of who He is.
Daniel 3:17-18 NIV
If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Psalms 147:4-5
He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
