Live and Declare

Have you been thanking God for answered prayers and sharing what He has done for you? When the Lord comes through for us we should not keep it to ourselves. We must declare his faithfulness to encourage others. Too often we move on to the next problem without thanking and praising God for what he has already done. Let us help to strengthen the faith of other believers by sharing what the Lord has brought us through.

Years ago whenever I would go to the doctor with any health issues I was experiencing, the results would leave me puzzled. They usually find nothing wrong. Even now it's a lot of the same thing. I found myself giggling and thanking God for some recent diagnosis because of what different doctors and a dental surgeon have told me.  My hematologist, after completing extensive blood tests for all kinds of cancer and diseases of the blood said "all your tests look good. We don't know why your white blood cell count is low." He said I do have a bit of liver damage but for some reason, that didn't bother me. I know that is in God's hands.

A dental surgeon told me after a panoramic scan, " before you say anything, I just want you to know that there is no way for me to get to that. I'm sure this is not the first time you're hearing this." He continued, "I should do a study and write a book about this because after all my years of being a surgeon, I have never seen anything like that." This tooth causes me a lot of problems, no one will touch it but i know nothing is impossible with my God. He will work it out however He chooses. I can take that to the bank!

From a pain management doctor, who I saw when I had shoulder pain that therapy didn't help with, I heard, " I have seen calcification but never anything like this." He had ordered scans and was going over what he saw.

What is baffling the doctors Jesus knows the answers to. I am living to declare his wonderful works.  He is the one who is keeping me in perfect peace because I'm trusting Him through all of it. When I hear these things I remember that I can be still because He is always in control. I am honored and undeserving of such mercy and grace. It is God who is keeping me.  He is the one who formed me and there is nothing that He does not know.

This past weekend the Lord came through in a huge way for me and my family. This has been years in the making. I've watched over time as he has been putting things into place and removing the stumbling blocks to get us the desired results. He did it at a time of such uncertainty. It's a thing of beauty to watch as the Lord works even when the enemy tries to get in the way. I'm so thankful and grateful for all He has been doing and will continue to do on our behalf. All praise and glory belong to Him.

Sharing all of this is just to remind you, that no matter what the diagnosis or any other battle you are facing, the outcome is of the Lord.

Psalms 107:22

Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.
