Over and over the word of God tells us we are not to worry. When He says we are to bring all the tithe into His house, why are we taking care of everything else first and giving Him what is left or any at all. Why are we not taking God at His word to do what He has promised?
I would always feel guilty when I did this. The Lord delivered me from thinking this way and from giving him what was left after I had paid my bills and not what He required. Our heavenly Father shouldn't be an after thought when it comes to our tithe and offering. We should set aside what's His before anything else because all that we have comes from Him. The enemy will always try to whisper and sow seeds of doubts, telling us of all we need to do and that we do not have enough. Whether we have enough or not, what belongs to God must come first.
Every time I make a decision to trust God through my circumstances, my faith is strengthened because He always makes away. He literally just came through for me this morning, way sooner than I had expected, and this is why I'm encouraging you to trust Him to do what He promised.
Give the Lord what belongs to Him first from your earnings. I am saying earnings because some of us earn outside of a job. If we are blessed with additional income praise the Lord, it is He who made that possible.
Let us stop worrying and start trusting God to do what He has promised. Let us cheerfully give Him the first fruits of what we earn and not give of what is left. When we do that we are basically saying we are not sure He will be faithful.
My entire life is lived by standing on every promise of our Savior because I know that if He does not help me, there is no hope for me. I used to struggle with what my spiritual gift was and whether I had any. After praying and careful consideration, I realize that I have been the recipient of many blessings. I can testify to so much that the Lord has brought me through so my gift must be to encourage and pray for others.
Some of us may be looking for a huge pay day but God's ways are not our ways. Sometimes He gives us just what we need at the time we need it, just like He did for the children of Israel in giving them manna daily. They complained that they wanted meat and the Lord's anger was stirred against them. They were not satisfied with what He provided. (Numbers 11: 1-6.)
Jesus Himself tells us that the Father knows what we need before we even ask. (Matthew 6:8.) We must demonstrate that we believe what the word of God says and we do so by trusting Him.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

Thank you for sharing the word of God and life’s purpose and blessings.
